China National Holiday "GOLDEN WEEK" October 1st - 7th

Golden Week is a China National Holiday held annually starting Monday, October 1st. This 7-day festival includes festivals, parades, and ceremonies to celebrate the founding of the People's Republic of China.

This year, Golden Week will be celebrated from October 1st-7th. Factories will close for the extended holiday week, with operations resuming on Monday, October 9th. Hong Kong will be off only October 1st, and will resume back October 2nd.

Please expect space to be extremely tight since carriers announced blank sailings after the holiday. Also, expect carriers to overbook space which could cause cargo to be rolled to next sailing schedule.
