China Customs Advanced Manifest System (CCAMS) Filing Requirement

Effective June 1st, 2018:

In efforts to expedite customs clearance for both air and ocean shipments efficiently, the (GACC) General Administration of Customs China has implemented a new rule effective June 1st, 2018. The new manifest process will require electronic manifest submission 24 hours prior to cargo loading on vessels. The manifest data must be accurate and complete, for all goods under the Bill of Lading. The manifest will also require shipper and consignee to provide an “enterprise code”

USA shipments – EIN (Employer Identification Number) or Tax ID Number.
