- The Supreme Court will make a decision soon on whether or not President Trump can impose his outrageous tariffs. The court agreed to review lower decisions that in fact found President Trump did not have the authority to issue many of the tariffs under an emergency powers law. The Trump Administration has argued the ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit would put the United States at a disadvantage and expose the nation to retaliatory trade prices. This tariff case will be the first the Supreme Court will directly decide the legality of one of President Trump's policies. Arguments for this case will take place during the first week of November.
