CBP Issues Detention Orders on Products Suspected of Forced Labor

According to The U.S Customs Border and Protection website, they have released a list of 5 products that are currently being investigated in whole or part using forced labor. The United States prohibits any goods that are suspected of forced labor from entering the US; which includes convict labor, forced child labor, and indentured labor.

• Disposable Rubber Gloves from Malaysia produced by WRP Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd.

• Gold minded in Eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo

• Rough Diamonds from Marange Diamond Fields in Zimbabwe

• Bone Black from Brazil produced by Bonechar Carvao Ativado do Brasil
